Lime, Innov8 and Gouach join forces to offer a 100% French solution to recycle and reconvert batteries from scooters and electric bikes into backup batteries for smartphones.
An unprecedented collaboration signed by the Innov8 group, Lime and the start-up Gouach
On 7 November 2022, at the opening of the Made In France fair (MIF EXPO) in Paris, the Innov8 group, a French specialist in the intelligent supply of connected products, Lime, a leader in the field of micro-mobility and self-service transport equipment rental, and Gouach, a start-up focused on the eco-friendly design of lithium-ion batteries, have announced a collaboration to implement a circular ecosystem that will give a second life to the electric battery cells used in Lime's shared vehicles.
These cells will be reused in mobile phone back-up batteries manufactured in France by Innov8 and sold under its Muvit brand. This new range of back-up batteries will be designed in an ecological way, certified Made in France and soon Origine France Garantie (application pending), as well as 100% repairable.
